In this tutorial, you will learn how to connect your web3 wallet to your existing Bitkind account. You must connect and link your wallet to create fundraisers. Our system will link your wallet's public address to your Bitkind account, allowing other users to send you direct donations. Note that Bitkind doesn't hold any funds or transfer them for you—after connection, all donations will transfer directly from donors' wallets to yours.

There are multiple ways to connect your Web3 wallet on Bitkind. You can do it directly on the wallet page, while making a donation, or in the story editor at https://bitkind.org/stories/new when publishing your fundraiser and video. The connection process works on both mobile and desktop devices, whether through a wallet app or web browser. This tutorial covers every connection method:

Dapp Browser in Web3 Wallet App

This is the most reliable integration method and works consistently. All EVM-compatible Web3 wallets come with a built-in DApp browser for accessing the Bitkind web app. Using this browser lets you confirm transactions and sign messages seamlessly, without switching between different apps. Use your favorite wallet, such as Binance Web3 Wallet, Trust, Coinbase Wallet, MetaMask, or any other.

  1. Open your wallet app. This tutorial uses TrustWallet as an example, but you can use any other wallet since they all have similar interfaces.

  2. In the app menu, tap either "Discover" or the web browser icon.
