Welcome to our donation tutorial. Sending donations through Bitkind using blockchain technology is as simple as using Apple Pay or bank card—and you don't need an account. Simply install a Web3 wallet (like Binance Web3 Wallet, TrustWallet, or Coinbase Wallet) as a mobile app or browser extension.

For enhanced features, connect your Web3 wallet to your Bitkind account. This connection lets you track the impact of your donations and displays them on your public profile instead of remaining anonymous. Make your mark by donating under your brand name or alias.

Decentralized donations

Our payment system operates on EVM blockchain, handling transactions across popular networks including Binance Smart Chain, Ethereum, Base, and others. This decentralized structure enables low-cost, direct transfers. Bitkind never holds or transmits funds—donors and charities interact through true peer-to-peer payments. Our platform simply tracks amounts, maintains donation history, and provides community features like comments, likes, and sharing. To use Bitkind, you only need a Web3 wallet like TrustWallet or Coinbase Wallet, available as either a mobile app or browser extension. Be your own Swiss bank.

All payments are processed through a blockchain smart contract that forwards your donation to the charity while adding public data to link the payment to the story and profile on Bitkind. The verified smart contract ensures that neither it nor Bitkind administrators can hold your funds—it simply facilitates the transfer to the receiver in a single transaction while passing along metadata.

When you make a transaction or connect your wallet, verify the contract address and check that the site domain is https://bitkind.org.

    3. Follow your favorite charities and volunteers and view their stories on the subscriptions page https://bitkind.org/subscriptions. Note: This requires a Bitkind account.
    4. Follow us on YouTube, X, Instagram, TikTok, and Telegram to discover the latest stories from charities, impact reports, and short videos. You can also receive notifications whenever someone you follow posts a new story.

  11. Tap "Next" to proceed to the final step.

  12. Here you can review your donation details. Our system clearly displays how much the organizer will receive and any optional tips. There is no service fee—it will always be zero.
